women!

Eminent personalities from all walks of life came in as guest speakers

In his inaugural speech, General Manager Mr. Ashwani Nayar stated that,
“As team Sheraton Udaipur, we are socially connected and responsibly committed towards
the community as the Brand Sheraton strongly believes in these principles.”

More than 50 ladies from Udaipur along with our lady associates participated in this event with a noble cause
The audience was attentive, involved and enthusiastic!

Our first speaker of the day was Ms. Ritushree, Regional HR Head, Secure Meters.She travelled all the way from Gurgaon to be a part of this event. She focused on safety and security of women in MNCs and other workplaces. She also shared the best practices that Secure Meters follows for their lady employees.

Usha Chaudhary, founder – NGO Vikalp, gave a soul stirring speech and made us more aware of the conditions around us. Usha has been working for women welfare since 2003. She has been written about in Femina, Deccan Herald, Guardian(UK), HT and many more. She is truly an icon for the women community, she has fought through her difficult times and now has dedicated her life for the betterment of women and children in India.

When senior journalist of Rajasthan Patrika, Tarushree Sharma, took over, the audience felt brave and confident. She gave a power packed speech and shared experiences from her own life.

And then there was time for some action! Sensei Harish Kumar from All India Karate Federation
demonstrated martial arts moves that will be handy for any woman in distress.The audience got really involved in his demonstrations!

It was an extremely interactive session!All issues of women safety and security were addressed.

UDAI – was a great success being the first of its kind event in the city. It was well accepted and appreciated.
